Developmental editing looks at the overall structure and content of your manuscript and recommends changes to improve it.
With this kind of editing, we do not make corrections to spelling and grammar, reorganise/cut content, or rewrite awkward passages. We focus on giving you detailed feedback so you can make the changes.
When we undertake a developmental edit, we will provide you with a detailed report. This report will provide overall feedback as well as feedback for each chapter outlining:
